I've been recently in touch with my secondary schoolmates.
Had a great pre-celebration with Eileen and company during Deepavali.
Headed down with Yishi to promenade and met Li Qing, then cabbed to MBS as it was raining heavily.
Eileen was then blind folded while travelling from suntec down to MBS and was only unfolded when all of us arrived. All of us then gave her the best ever surprise at Cold Rock ice cream parlour.
Loved the wonderful limited edition specially requested ice-cream cake ordered from Cold Rock by Elaine.
A mixture of cheese and cookie & cream flavours with oreo biscuits decorated on top of the most heavenly ice cream cake. It tasted very sweet but an average portion was a kind of blessing.
Proceeded for ice skating at MBS.. and found out it was "plastic skating" instead.
Was very disappointed as the standard wasn't there, the feeling wasn't the same as the usual ice you skate on. And worst was, two of my friends got hurt and some even had bleeding. Terribleeeee.
But of course the company is the main thing that matters, somehow we did have some fun helping each other to skate. Hopefully it's going to be the first and my last time there. Such a pity, a nice and classy environment and in the centre of attraction is some artificial skating rink. Oh well, only young ones would be deceived.
We then headed down to dhoby's Fish&Co. glasshouse restaurant to celebrate and dine there. Ordered Cajun Salmon with rice! Yumyumm. However, the portion was rather small.
Then grabbed some cakes and pasteries at Bengawan Solo for Mom and myself. As usual, pandan cake, kueh ambon is never a miss for me.. *winks* ;) Hmm, but on the first attempt of the egg tarty, it was only average in taste. Finally ended the day, exhausted but amazingly happy and worth while.
Next day was school and I went to Pasta Mania with my usual cartoony friends for the usual dessert session of apple crumble and banana chocolate pizzas. We had the best time spent together, though many of us met new friends, have new schedules to attend to and some are so occupied with stuff. I'm glad we're still able to meet up and stay in contact. Cause every time I talk to them, I just feel so happy! Somehow they are just jokers that brightens my day up at any point of time. We ended up chatting and resulted into playing the "shoot-shag-marry" game. I laughed until my cheeks felt tired. I do have to admit it was super stress relieving.
After the whole session, I met mom and dad and we headed down to admiralty coffeeshop as mom wanted to try the vegetarian there. I ate some noodle soup with meatball and went back to finish up the pandan cake I bought the previous night.
Eventually, the following day was Friday! T.G.I.F yeahhhhh. I dragged myself to attend the biz stats class and true enough, more than half the class was absent I guess. This really shows how "motivating" the class can be when it comes to B modules. Seriously, if I were one of those smarties, I would have chose to sleep in all day.
Met up with Andrea, Darryl and Mash after school and headed to dhoby for some movie. Like others have described, Real Steal was awesomeness. The little boy looksed so charming! Bet this dude is gonna look so cool when he grows up. Hahhahaha. Tickets were on Dreay and Darry. Thanks again!
Went to try the Korean restaurant that I've been aiming for the past few weeks and it turned out to me average only hahahhaa. But happy time spent, so no regrets! On the way home and I kept on pestering Mash to teach me how to use google map on iPhone when he's so sick. I'm super annoying I guess. Do get well soon potato! Andddd yeapppp! Here I am sitting down typing down all the stuff.
Tomorrow is going to be supersupersuper packed day for me. I have to jog, do my revision, finish my reflection journal before 3pm, and fry my bee hoon and proceed to town to find Babs and Dill. I've no idea how I'm going to find the place. But i'll just have to take the risk. Hope no one's gonna be like staring at me and wear the face of "what the crap is this girl doing with a tray of bee hoon in orchard walking around aimlessly like a lost bird". It's going to be soooo awkward. Just make me invisible for once please! My goodness. Alright, gotta sleep byebyebyeybeybee.
Ohyasuminasai.
