Well, today was a really hectic day for me.
I travelled crazily with my Mom just to reach a destination.
Somehow we weren't that familiar of the place and we were really very tired to pay close attention to the signboards and the path we were travelling on. Hence, we actually had some car drive. If I didn't remember it wrongly, we passed by quite a few places such as braddell, ang mo kio, toa payoh, thomson, bartley, bukit timah, geylang bahru and finally reached our destination, kallang bahru.
Managed to find the essilor building for the collection of my lucky draw prize.
I'm indeed super happy as this is the first time i've won something worthwhile under my name for the coming eighteen years of my life.
I just selected essilor crizal lenses as they were recommended to be the new range consisting of many benefits such as water stains, scratch proof and all those stuff. While I didn't even bother signing up for the lucky draw form and it was my optician who kindly helped me fill in my personal details. Hahahhaa.
Then, after a few weeks later, i recieved calls and letters. I was told that I was one of the lucky few winners and to have reassurance that it wasn't some scam, my name was also listed in their website. Coooollll. It really did made me jump for joy. Most probably I did suspend mid-air for a few seconds when i came to realise that this was for real.
Yay!
Okay, the bad part was. It wasn't the 3g version. So no whatever sg wireless network access other than the normal wi-fi i guess. i'm really bad at distinguishing between apple products so this is just some surface knowledge that i roughly know. It's great that i won something already.. so i would say, i'm really contented.
Besides that, if you were wondering why there are faceshop stuff at the background.
Yes. I spent a bomb again. And no, I did not intend to buy any of their stuff.
NOT UNTIL...I saw a 50% off warehouse sale at Faceshop building located a bus stop away from the essilor building. So I told my Mom to pop by there and have a look on what they've to offer. I bought many many things. But definitely not all of them are just meant for me. A few of them were for my Mom. :]
So yes, we split the bill into half.
HORROR. :O
The not so nice part was, when i asked what were the freebies offered when a customer purchases certain number of products from the warehouse sale...
she told me, "oh you sure like it, it's Kim Hyun Joong poster! Like it right?"
I wasn't so much of a fan that goes to those extent of collecting their pictures and looking at them everyday to make myself drool over such unrealistic desires.
It was gonna be so much better if they would to offer me another product free or something usable. Lame.
After all that, I headed to my new house for a little while to do some things and then headed to the supermarket to get a lotttttt of fruits, mushrooms, milk and veges for dinner. So then again, I spent a lotttttt of money on them. Especially FRUITS.
You should take a look at my lovely fruits and mushrooms first.... :)
Hong Kong papaya, South Africa red plums, Argentina grapes, Korean strawberries and two cartons of full cream & non fat Australian Milk.
the FUNGI kingdom!
so cute aren't they?? KAWAII DESU NEH!
AND...
the best part.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Holy. It's four in the morning already.
I think I've blogged almost everything about today.
I shall end the post here then.
Goodnight!
You can't see my face cause it's super dark at night, but do visit woodlands waterfront!
Phase two of the waterfront was just officially opened to the public not long ago!
Very breezy and nice place to chill.
